Welcome to Part Two of a two-part series leading up to National Art Day on October 25, 2020. This week, Jaiko is speaking with Christina Foard, former artist-in-residence for the University of Georgia Office of Sustainability. During her time with the Office of Sustainability, Christina facilitated a community-wide social experiment called Imagination Squared where Athens residents demonstrated the meaning of resilience by modifying a 5” wood square. Join us for this interesting and inspiring conversation as Jaiko and Christina discuss the origin of Imagination Squared, the role that art plays in making our communities more resilient, and the existence of an inner artist within all of us. Visit https://imaginationsquared.org/ to see all of the squares that were created as part of Imagination Squared.
